Alexander said, "Our discovery proves that much of the solar system is older than the sun, which means that a large amount of organism-rich interslar water ice should exist in all young planetary systems."
Professor Tim Harries, Department of Physics and Astronomy, University of Exeter, UK, also participated in the study. He said: "This is an important step forward in finding ways to make life available to other planets. By identifying the ancient origins of water on Earth, we can understand that the formation of the solar system is not unique and that extrasolar planets Will form in an environment that contains a lot of water, so the study raises the possibility that some extraterrestrial planets are likely to have a suitable environment where water exists and life evolves. "The research's First author Ilsedore Cleeves, a PhD student at the University of Michigan, said: "These findings suggest that at least some of the water in the solar system is inherited from the environment where the sun was born, The sun itself is even more ancient, and if the formation of the solar system is to be regarded as typical, it means that water is a common ingredient in the formation of all planetary systems. "
