The contains both a bulb and electronics in a single housing. It can be operated via battery or a power supply unit and it is easy to switch in between the two. The battery operated version weighs 1.9 kg while the power supply unit version weighs only 1.4 kg. This lamp is useful for searching large areas and can be used with a floodlight reflector to see excitations in daylight or at far distances.

It is available as a spotlight, midlight and floodlight. The spotlight has an intensity of 45,000μW/cm2 at a distance of 38 cm (15 in). The midlight has an intensity of 12,000μW/cm2 at a distance of 38 cm (15 in). The floodlight has an intensity of 4,000μW/cm2 at a distance of 38 cm (15 in).

Full power is achieved 5 to 15 seconds after start up and it can be switched on or off without pre-cooling. With its IP65 certification, the lamp can be used indoors or outdoors, even in the rain.

Included is the lamp, battery and UV blocking goggles.
