Active Power Tester
The APT-1 Active Power Tester is designed to give an indication when the absence of full line voltage is detected on overhead conductors, giving an audible and visual alert. The APT-1 is for use on uninsulated overhead conductors with voltages from 7.6 to 13.2kV line-to-ground.
Active Power Tester Features
Lets the worker know whether the overhead voltage has been disconnected prior to working on the line
Clampstick installed
Audible indication and flashing light when the absence of voltage is detected on the line
Powered by a field replaceable 9-volt alkaline battery
