热带病的分布很广泛，一般具有以下特点：①限于热带，如非洲锥虫病、美洲锥虫病、埃及血吸虫病、曼氏血吸虫病、盘尾丝虫病、黄热病等；②以热带为主，如疟疾、霍乱、登革热、丝虫病等主要分布于热带地区，非热带地区也有零星分布。
