POLYIMIDE ADHESIVE / COATING
DESCRIPTION: 122-01 is a single component, electrically insulating, solvent resistant, polyimide based, adhesive
and coating suitable for application by screen-printing, dipping and syringe dispensing. This product is designed for
assembling electrical and electronic components. The cure schedule allows for rapid processing and the resulting
bond exhibits excellent thermal stability and adhesion at high temperatures. 122-01 is an unfilled version of CMI
110-19.

SUGGESTED HANDLING & CURING: 122-01 is ready to use as supplied. Apply adhesive to surface to be
bonded by hand and/or automatic method and assemble. Apply slight pressure to assure good mating of surfaces
and formation of filet. Best properties for most applications result when cured for 1 hour at 200°C. Good properties
are obtained on a variety of substrates by curing at temperatures ranging from 150°C to 210°C. The minimum
cure time and temperature to assure solvent resistance is one hour at 180°C. End user is advised to
experimentally determine temperature and time best suited for individual applications.
STORAGE: Shelf Life: 1 year when stored at 23°C or less. Storing at higher temperatures may advance the resin.
** Please note: 122-01 may crystallize during storage. To re-melt crystals, place in a warm water bath or on a hot
plate at 90°C – 100°C. Heat only until crystals dissolve. Do not leave unattended. Time to melt the crystals will be
dependent upon the mass.
SAFETY & HANDLING: Use with adequate ventilation. Keep away from sparks and open flames. Avoid prolonged
contact with skin and breathing of vapors. Wash with soap and water to remove from skin.
