背景介绍:

        机械压痕是一种快速、无损的生物组织评价技术。近,Biomomentum对这项技术进行了改进和扩充,它既具有映射绘图能力,又解决了垂直性问题,这仍然妨碍了纳米压痕等其他方法。利用这些突破,新的研究设计的效率大大提高。压痕通常要求被测试的表面是平坦的,并且还需要垂直于关节表面的压缩轴。多轴机械试验机MACH-1 V500 CSS的3D“正常压痕”函数精确地检测XY位置处的表面高度和方向,并记录载荷(多轴向载荷单元),同时以不同速度移动测试仪的三个阶段,以便以预定义的方式移动球形压头。沿着垂直于样品表面的虚拟轴的位移分布。利用MACH-1 V500 CSS测试器*的多轴能力,生物显微镜已经开发出新的功能,允许压痕测试的所有优点,同时克服了传统的局限性。这一技术进步依赖于在Mach-1运动软件中增加两个功能:“扫描XY”和“正常压痕”。在每个位置执行一系列功能之前,“扫描XY”功能在预定义位置移动测试仪的X和Y水平级。应该提到的是,这样的位置列表可以很容易地生成使用Biomomentum的“软骨映射”软件处理样本的俯视图。“正常缩进”函数精确地检测出XY位置上的表面的高度和方向,并记录负载(多轴载荷单元),同时以不同的速度移动测试仪的三个阶段,以便沿着一个正常的法线的虚拟轴在样品表面移动球形压头。

Significance and Use

 

5.1 Hardness tests have been found to be very useful for materials evaluation, quality control of manufacturing processes and research and development efforts. Hardness, although empirical in nature, can be correlated to tensile strength for many metals and alloys, and is also an indicator of machinability, wear resistance, toughness and ductility.
